Projects
Surface:
When homely, picked on, sixteen-year-old, Singred Thomas is invited to a pig
party (a competition to see who can bring the ugliest date) thrown by several
members of her high school football team, she retaliates by killing two of them
and making it appear that they were having a homosexual love affair. She
plants all the evidence at the home of a third boy, Sam Rifkin, the high school
quarterback, making it appear that he killed them for their love. When the media
picks up on the story the gay rights movement of the nineties is born.
"Get ready for a whole new kind of femme fatale."
Sleepwalking:
When Paparazzi photographer Anderson Fletcher, snaps a picture of 65-year-old
movie legend, Wolffe Parker, kissing his 23-year-old narcoleptic cousin
outside of a Hollywood night club, he fails to realize that in the background of
the shot, a murder is taking place. The romance Anderson has uncovered makes national
headlines and he continues to get more shots of the couple as he is supplied
information by Claudia, a disgruntled security worker, who has 24-hour a day
access to Mr. Parker and who daydreams about celebrities constantly. Anderson
keeps having strange dreams about the night he took the original photo. Will
his conscience bother him enough to blow up the picture and discover the real
story he has captured?
