Pike Consulting

It is common knowledge that there are a tremendous number of technologies available in the world today, but the question of how to best make use of them, and on a limited budget, is considerably more complicated. The nature of business in today’s economy dictates that effectively solving this question is essential to running a successful and profitable business.

With over 14 years experience in the computer field, I have spent the last few years as a freelance consultant, functioning frequently as a “one-person I.T. department” responsible for all the technology needs of a small company. I believe in providing “holistic I.T.” services, working with a wide range of technologies to bring about an ideal deployment of computers, software, networks, and other technologies to provide the solutions clients demand and benefit from.

This has led to my gaining a wide range of experience with many aspects of current technology and services, including:

  • Web Design
  • Programming and scripting
  • Database design and development
  • Computer hardware (installation, maintenance and repair)
  • Networking and security (wired and wireless)
  • Software (installation and configuration)
  • Graphics Development
  • Digital Audio (Recording, Composition, Voice-over, Sound design)
  • Music Technology Consulting (Software, Midi, Engineering, Equipment)
  • Managment Consulting
  • Ethics Training and Consulting

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to “translate” highly technical information into a non-technical format in order to ensure good communication and successful project completion.

I enjoy working with businesses in a wide range of industries, with the aim of identifying ways that various currently available technologies could be better leveraged to increase employee productivity, efficiency, and ultimately, the bottom line.

I offer consulting and contract work to meet your business's managment and IT needs. With an emphasis on problem solving and the creative application of limited resources, I am well suited for the needs of growing enterprises.
